James Aric Baker, age 36, of Burgaw and formerly of Mt. Olive died Thursday, November 15, 2007 in Pender County. He was born January 5, 1971 in Goldsboro, the son of Verlyn Fulghum Baker of Fremont and the late Austin James Baker, Jr. Aric was employed with Burgaw Veterinary Hospital. He loved and took care of all of his family and was greatly loved in return. Aric will be missed more than words can express.
In addition to his mother Aric is survived by his sisters, Pammela S. Baker and her husband, Darryl Pinner of Burgaw and Dr. Stephanie V. Baker of Burgaw; nieces and nephews, Ella, Adam, Sam, Eli, Noah and Caj; grandmothers, Doris Ellis of Mt. Olive and John D. Baker of High Point; aunt, Judy Fuller of Mt. Olive; uncle, David Fulghum and his wife, Donna of Mt. Olive; and cousins, Henry, Mort, Jody, Scott and George. A Celebration of Aric's Life and Time of Sharing will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Burgaw Veterinary Hospital, 1255 US Hwy 117 N, Burgaw with The Rev.
